The Ford Rouge Factory Postcard #2

$2.00

Take a step back in time with our reprints of historic Detroit postcards. This postcard is based on original postcards produced between 1929 and 1937, and captures a glimpse of the city's past.

This postcard features the world famous Ford Rouge Factory. When Henry Ford hired architect Albert Kahn to help develop the Rouge, between 1917 and 1928, he had a vision; A “continuous, nonstop process from raw material to finished product, with no pause even for warehousing or storage." The plan would be a success, rolling out 4,000 vehicles a day and employing more than 100,000 at its peak. Our remakes are printed in the USA on high-quality cardstock and measure 4x6 inches. They are perfect for framing, displaying, or sending to friends, family, and those unlucky enough to not live in Detroit.

Whether you're a history buff or just a fan of Detroit, these reprints of historic postcards are a great way to add a touch of nostalgia to your mailbox, home, or office.
