The Nancy Brown Peace Carillon Postcard

$2.00

Take a step back in time with our reprints of historic Detroit postcards. This postcard is based on original postcards produced between 1940 and 1945 and captures a glimpse of the city's past.

J. E. Leslie wrote The Detroit News Experience Column under the penname Nancy Brown from 1919 to 1942. She started the column at age 49, saying she was old enough to have had the "experience of living". Throughout her storied career she gave Detroiters, and thanks to syndication Americans, a "shoulder to lean on". Her steadfast commitment to her readers in an age of flux and uncertainty earned her a legion of loyal fans. The Nancy Brown Peace Carillon is a carillon on Detroit's Belle Isle dedicated to peace for all mankind.

Our remakes are printed in the USA on high-quality cardstock and measure 4x6 inches. They are perfect for framing, displaying, or sending to friends, family, and those unlucky enough to not live in Detroit.

Whether you're a history buff or just a fan of Detroit, these reprints of historic postcards are a great way to add a touch of nostalgia to your mailbox, home, or office.
